Lasse Erkola is a photographer based in Helsinki, Finland

The unique mood and small cluttered alleys of Japan are a big inspiration for Lasse’s photography. His style is candid, cinematic and he prefers night over day. Of course he takes pictures in his hometown Helsinki as well, but Japan will always have a special place in his heart.

When Lasse is not taking pictures or enjoying painfully bad movies, he works as an Art Director for a Finnish videogame magazine called Pelaaja.
